How to buy

Seaman or no seaman, everybody is welcome in our shop, but only seamen of vessels in the Rotterdam Harbour can buy tax-free.

How does this work?
All purchases will be registered under the ship's name and the seaman's name copied from his passport or ID-card. Documents are made up and send electronically to the custom-authorities. After their permission to leave the shop, customers along with their purchases are brought back to the ship. Goods should stay on board for the customs to check and can not be used or consumed before sailing.
